Will writing
Home visits available / wills from £100 each
After advising you so that you’re in a position to make an informed decision, I’ll take your instructions on board and draft a will for you. Once you’ve approved the draft, I’ll prepare the will and have it ready to sign. I’ll be with you when you sign so that legal formalities (i.e. the attendance of two witnesses) are observed. You will then receive your will plus two free solicitor-certified copies. I can arrange for your will to be safely and securely stored for an annual fee of £40. Any risk of loss, accidental destruction, fire, burglary etc will then be mitigated.
Lasting powers of attorney
Home visits available / Lasting powers of attorney from £185 each plus Office of the Public Guardian registration fee
Sensitivity and care are always the basis of my service when it comes to filing lasting powers of attorney instructions – I know that any decisions made are not done so lightly. I’ll provide advice at the appointment so that you have all the right information before making your decision. I prepare the LPA in complete confidentiality, and I’ll be in attendance when you have it in front of you, ready to sign. Once signed, I’ll then arrange for it to be registered at the Office of the Public Guardian.
